Bachelor Project - "A Squire's Song"

In "A Squire's Song" the player experiences the world through the eyes of Peregrine, a knight's squire, who works hard, yet rarely is appreciated for it.

The day before the big tournament Knight Mallory’s sword goes missing and you, as her squire, are tasked to retrieve it. Talking to and getting to know the other knights you find out that Mallory is not the only one missing an important item and soon it’s clear that someone is trying to sabotage the tournament.

The player must solve the mystery of the tournament by exploring this colorful world and solving both narrative, as well as gameplay puzzles, such as, for example, using the right words in conversations to get the information you need, or collecting objects from the world and combining them in new ways to continue your search for answers.

"A Squire’s Song" was created as part of my bachelor thesis at the Hochschule Darmstadt - University of Applied Sciences.

The demo contains the first scene of the game as proof of concept.
