“Waldeinsamkeit” is a narrative-driven 2.5D PC game created as a third-semester project at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt.
The player experiences a typical day in the life of Cat and Dog who struggle with growing up, mental problems, and the expectations of others.
The two friends confide in each other and plan to meet up at the end of the day, which might or might not happen, depending on the player's actions.

To play Waldeinsamkeit simply download the .zip file, unpack it and open the Waldeinsamkeit.exe executable.

i really enjoyed this! love the art style and the 2.D world. i even really like the sound effects for speaking and texting! i found myself having to choose between what i would want to say and what, realistically, i would do IRL. i was able to get them to meet up in the end, and that's a win to me!

And yes, you're absolutely right, there is a game-breaking bug in the last scene that freezes you in the phone. We're working on it and we hope to have a new version out in the next couple of days.
